Last Day Things

On the last day in Lisbon we did last day things like walking really close to trolley tracks.

Going to a church that was destroyed in an earthquake before our country was a country.

Looking at clouds.

Going to beautiful bars and drinking cherry and ginger ale floats with pistachio ice cream.

It’s sad to leave but it feels like we’ve reached a place where taking a trip is no longer a break from the normal. And it’s no longer like we’re outside of ourselves watching different people lead better lives. This trip feels like an extension of ourselves, like a good thing growing. We loved it here. But we love home. There’s so much more to come. Until then, here’s us not believing how lucky we are in a really big kitchen.
