Way too tall cactus. Old west cartoon cactus. Look at this one directly across the street from our house. Look how small Kellie is in comparison! Like a little baby peanut!


We cut hunks off it to try to recreate it in our yard. See? It’s, like, most of the way there already. See?


As Canadian/Floridian/North Carolinian/Philadelphian, general, East Coasters, we never imagined living anywhere near these things and, suddenly, they’re everywhere. Sometimes twisting and melting. Other times of the year, flowering or fruiting.


Just up the street there’s a cartoon cactus fortress of solitude. It’s amazing.
