We got to the airport 4 hours before the flight. That means we were there before the employees were at the counter. Good thing it is a nice place: Thankfully KC lent us Freaks and Geeks. We will update on our mostly uneventful last day later.

It’s the end of our second night in Montevideo. Yesterday, upon arrival, we walked around for an hour or two before discovering our hotel’s rooftop pool. We had a nice dinner, more kids played drums in the street, but we were in bed early and ready for our first full day here. Here’s that pool on the roof:

Greetings from a bus in Uruguay! And Happy Thanksgiving!  We’re on our way to Montevideo from Colonia after arriving via boat yesterday.  First off, the boat!  It was enormous and fancy.  There was a giant cafeteria with a full bar and duty free shop even thought the passage from Buenos Aires was only an hour.

Evidently, Monday was some sort of holiday because the streets were pretty quiet.  Today, however many millions of people there are (10 or so), they were back.  In full force.  Walking the streets, riding motorbikes, talking on cell phones, working, going to school.  Welcome back, it wasn’t the same without you guys. A little rain, a lot of shine
